Volunteering is a great way to meet community members, gain experience and have fun!

Current volunteer opportunities include:
Storytellers
Do you have a passion for research and writing? Would you like to tell our community some interesting stories about our home here on the mountain? You could write a short article on one or two topics of your choice, or become a regular ‘columnist’ for the AMCS newsletter and share stories on a regular basis.
Jamie Soule Memorial Park (JSMP) Committee
Regional District of Okanagan/Similkameen (RDOS) land in our community, zoned for park purposes, was upgraded for recreational use and officially named after longtime resident, Jamie Soule, in his honour.

AMCS Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the governing committee of the AMCS. We attract passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board. Directors have the opportunity to help shape the future of our community by bringing new ideas to the table and working with a team committed to enhancing our shared space.
Directors are elected by members at Annual General Meetings and sit for one year before seeking re-election.

Officers are elected by the Board: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend and actively participate in board meetings (typically once per month) Collaborate with other board members on various projects and initiatives. Assist in the planning and execution of community events and activities.
