Thank you Aggie

Aggie Miazga, Director of Volunteers and Events has made the decision to resign her position on the AMCS Board. 

We would like to thank Aggie for all her hard work over the past years and look forward to her working with the community in a volunteer capacity. 

New Community Member Joins AMCS Board

As a result of this vacant position, the AMCS Board is pleased to announce the appointment of a new community member to the board.

 Jo-Anne Emery has accepted the position of Director of Communications and Fundraising. 

Jo-Anne and her husband Lorin Levac have been spending holidays at their cottage in Osoyoos since 2011 and moved there in 2023. They then set their sights on mountain living and purchased a building lot where they enjoy the fresh mountain air and the outstanding views. 

She recently retired after 30 years owning a business designing websites, print materials and visual presentations as well as working with not-for-profits in fundraising and event coordination – with clients/projects in six countries. She brings decades of board and committee experience to the AMCS as well as technical and creative skills.
