The Anarchist Mountain Community Society has made the very difficult and disappointing decision to cancel Saturday’s Music on the Mountain event.

We know how much our community looks forward to this event, and we’re truly sorry to have to make this call. We have reached the deadline for cancelling the bands, food truck and portable washroom, and with the smoke and air quality advisories continuing, we simply can’t predict what conditions will be like on Saturday.

The health and safety of our residents and community must always come first, even when it means giving up an event that we’ve all been looking forward to.

Thank you for your understanding and support. Be assured that the AMCS will continue to explore ways to bring music to our mountain.
