Music rang out and The Wienery hot dogs were being devoured on the mountain. Mother Nature cooperated and served up a perfect day on May 24th for the approximately 130 people to enjoy Music on the Mountain and the Grand Opening of the Pavilion at JSMP.
Headline act Double Stop Creek, featuring Sue McEvoy and Denise Soule, opened up the concert with high-tempo covers of country favourites getting the crowd clapping hands and stomping their feet. The Cliff McIntyre Band and Loosely Tight rounded out the live music performances and had folks up dancing right in front of the stage.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and all of our volunteers who made the day a huge success. More music to come so keep an eye out for future events.
We are also very grateful to Ron Hiller for capturing the event in photos and video.
